In details, an illegal Israeli settler killed on Saturday two Palestinian brothers after ramming them with his car near Nablus in the occupied West Bank, before fleeing the scene, Palestinian media reported.
Wafa news agency quoted Zakaria Fayala, a spokesperson for Al-Quds Governorate, as saying that Mohammad (28) and Muhannad Mutair (24) had stopped their car near an Israeli military checkpoint south of Nablus to fix a flat tire.
An Israeli settler directly drove his car directly into them, instantly killing Mohammad and seriously injuring Muhannad. The latter was rushed to a hospital for treatment but was pronounced dead shortly after.
In the same context, the Israeli occupation forces announced plans to demolish the home of Palestinian martyr Muhammad Al-Jabari who carried out the operation in “Kiryat Arba,” in Al-Khalil earlier last October.
Israeli practices of demolition also proceeded in the city of Jericho.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation army detained this morning 17 Palestinians in raids across the occupied territories, including a 36-year-old woman who is in her fifth month of pregnancy and a mother of five children, according to the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) and other sources.
The PPS said the occupation army detained Nihal Mohammad Ribee, after raiding her home in the town of Yatta in the south of the West Bank, despite the fact that she is in her fifth month of pregnancy.
Ribee’s husband, Bilal al-Yatim, and minor son, Baraa, were detained by occupation forces on December 11.
