Syria: ISIL Withdraws from more Territories near Manbij West of Euphrates River

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) struck the ISIL terrorist groups’ defense lines in Northeastern Aleppo and captured three more villages after hours of non-stop battle.
The SDF, mainly comprising of Kurdish fighters, stormed the ISIL positions in the Eastern and Southern sides of Manbij and won back the villages of Hod Hod, al-Hamdouniyeh and Qanat al-Qarreh, which also ended in the killing or injuring of tens of the militants.

In the meantime, the ISIL suffered a heavy death toll in clashes with the SDF fighters in the villages of Owseh Jeli al-Saqir and Owseh Jeli al-Kabir.

In relevant developments near Manbij on Tuesday, the fighters of Manbij Military Council, affiliated to SDF, drove the ISIL back from one more strategic village near the town of Manbij after hours of fierce clashes.

The SDF fighter, mainly comprising of the Kurdish combatants, struck the ISIL positions near the village of al-Sultaniyeh one kilometer to the East of Manbij and captured it, which ended in the killing of at least 17 militants and wounding of several others.

The SDF fighters also seized a large volume of the ISIL arms and ammunition, including RPG rockets, PKS rifles, Klashnikov automatic rifles, grenades and explosive belts.
