People’s Assembly: Syrian people have resisted projects of hegemony that aim to exploit resources of nations
Damascus, SANA- People’s Assembly said on Tuesday that the heroic Syrian people have fought the western hegemony projects which aim to exploit the resources of nations.
“The sacrifices of Syrian people and their blood have registered the most brilliant pages in the Arab history by gaining the glorious independence Day from the French occupier on April 17th, 1947 after a long march of struggle against this occupier,” The Assembly said in a statement on the 78th anniversary of the Evacuation Day that comes this year on Wednesday.
It added that the Syrian people are still resisting desperate attempts by the US and Zionist entity to impose a new colonial fait accompli in the region through trying to weaken the active role of Syria in the world in service of malice western agendas.
“Syria, under the leadership of President Bashar al-Assad, will regain all its occupied territories and its usurped rights,” the statement concluded.
