More Mass Graves Uncovered in Northeastern Syria

More mass graves containing the bodies of civilians killed in the US air raids have been found in Raqqa city, local sources reported on Monday.

The sources said that Raqqa Civil Team’s members took out bodies of tens of civilians that had been killed in the US air attacks in the al-Badou and al-Dadiqa al-Baydh in the Central part of Raqqa city.

The team’s members continue searching debris of the US air attacks to find more mass graves of civilians in gardens and sports stadiums in Raqqa city.

The Arabic-language al-Watan news website reported last month that a sum of 1,236 bodies of civilians that had been killed in the US air raids and SDF attacks were unearthed from mass graves in Panorama, al-Rashid Sports Stadium and the Zoo in Raqqa.

It further said that unearthing of bodies was still underway in the Zoo and Panorama, adding that most of the bodies discovered so far had been killed in the US air raids and attacks by the Syrian Democratic Forces.
