Mikdad receives credentials of Tunisian Ambassador to Syria

Damascus, SANA- Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Dr. Fayssal Mikdad received Sunday a copy of credentials of Ambassador Muhammad Al-Mahdhabi as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tunisia to the Syrian Arab Republic.

Mikdad highlighted the deep historical relations binding the two brotherly countries, pointing to the importance of the meeting that brought together the leaders of the two countries, President Bashar al-Assad, and President Kais Saied at the Arab Summit to strengthen and develop relations in various fields.

Mikdad referred to the attempts of Western countries to weaken and divide the Arab countries, stressing the importance of boosting joint Arab action to serve the interest of the Arab countries, and achieves the aspirations of the Arab people.

In turn, Ambassador al-Mahdhabi voiced his pride for his appointment to work in Syria, the heart of Arabism, noting the Tunisian leadership’s keenness to strengthen mutual relations in all fields between the two brotherly countries.
