Iran FM condoles martyrdom of Gaza Parl. speaker to Hamas chief

Addressing Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh in a message, the Iranian top diplomat condoled the martyrdom of the acting speaker of the Palestinian Legislative Council.

Undoubtedly, the crimes of the usurping Zionist regime against the Palestinian nation will only cause its faster deterioration and will make its ugly face more visible, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said.

The loss of such great men will not only cause any disruption in the will of the Palestinian people but will also make the oppressed and resistant nation more determined to continue the path to the freedom of their land, especially the Holy Al-Quds, he added.

“I ask God to have mercy on the souls of the righteous martyrs and the freedom of Palestine and its return to the arms of the Islamic Ummah,” he added.

Israel waged the bloody war on Gaza on October 7 after Hamas launched Operation Al-Aqsa Storm in the occupied territories.

Since the start of the aggression, the Tel Aviv regime has killed 13,300 Palestinians, including 5,600 children and 3,550 women, and injured more than 31,000 others.

It has also imposed a “complete siege” on the coastal sliver, cutting off fuel, electricity, food and water to the more than two million Palestinians living there.
