Hezbollah: Zionist Regime Assaults Aim to Fragment Syria in Broader Strategy Shift
Hezbollah, the Lebanese resistance group, has strongly denounced the most recent Israeli attacks on Syria. The organization labeled these actions as a clear breach of Syrian sovereignty and characterized them as an effort to destabilize the nation.

In a Saturday statement, Hezbollah alleged that ongoing Israeli airstrikes are components of a larger strategy aimed at destabilizing Syria, inciting sectarian conflict, and fragmenting the nation.
The Lebanese resistance group has reiterated its dedication to preserving Syria’s territorial sovereignty and has called on the international community, with a special emphasis on Arab countries, to take swift measures to stop Israeli hostilities.
Israel carried out 20 airstrikes across Syria overnight, a move that the newly established Syrian leadership has criticized as a “dangerous escalation.”
According to the SANA news agency, Israeli airstrikes have struck multiple locations across Syria, including areas near the capital city, Damascus, as well as regions in the western part of the country such as Latakia and Hama, and in the southern province of Daraa.
Israeli officials have justified the recent offensive as an effort to safeguard Syria’s Druze community, which has been embroiled in conflicts with HTS-supported militants. This escalation of sectarian violence has resulted in the deaths of dozens south of Damascus.
Palestinian resistance factions have released individual statements condemning Israeli actions in Syria, labeling them as acts of aggression.
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine has voiced criticism against Israel’s rationale for its actions, arguing that the Zionist entity has historically never served as a protector of minorities, contrary to its assertions.
The regime is allegedly exploiting this pretext to conceal its continual breaches of Syrian sovereignty and to exacerbate sectarian divisions, sources indicate.
The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine has issued a statement expressing concerns over the intensifying Israeli colonial aggression targeting Lebanon, Syria, and Palestine.
The Arab League has been urged to assist these countries in developing a coordinated regional and international strategy aimed at highlighting and countering Israel’s expansionist objectives.
The Mujahideen Movement has characterized the Israeli assaults as a continuation of the American-Zionist conflict targeting the region.
The statement emphasized that resistance and defiance are essential in thwarting Israel’s expansionist ambitions and countering its attempts to destabilize Syria and the surrounding area.
