The Hamas Movement has called on the Palestinian people in the West Bank to strongly confront the policy of demolishing the homes of their compatriots who carried out attacks against Israeli targets. Hamas spokesman Husam Badran stated on Thursday that Israel’s intent to demolish four homes in Qalandiya refugee camp and Yatta town belonging to families of martyrs would make the Palestinian people more determined to continue resisting the occupation and respond to its crimes.
Badran urged the Palestinians in the West Bank to close ranks and confront the intended demolition of four homes in Qalandiya and Yatta.
He called on the Palestinian youths to deliver a strong message to the occupation that such demolition policy would not dissuade them from resisting the occupation.
The Israeli occupation army on Tuesday gave the families of martyrs Issa Assaf and Annan Abu Habsa from Qalandiya camp in Jerusalem five days to evacuate their homes as a prelude to demolishing them. The army also notified the families of prisoners Khaled and Mohamed Makhamreh, who carried out a recent shooting attack in Tel Aviv, of its intention to knock down their homes in Yatta.
