Two Zionist Terrorists Killed by IED Explosion in Southern Lebanon

The Israeli military announced on Wednesday that two reserve soldiers lost their lives in an explosive device incident in Majdal Zoun. This marks the first military casualties for Israel since June 28, as per the official statements from the army.

Several more soldiers were injured during the incident, with Israeli Army Radio indicating that four are in “serious” condition. Further reports from Israeli media revealed that the explosion took place within a booby-trapped building in a southern Lebanese town, resulting in the deaths of two soldiers from the 55th Brigade and injuring seven others.

The assault occurs amid ongoing Israeli military actions in southern Lebanon, featuring airstrikes, artillery attacks, the destruction of homes, desecration of cemeteries, and forest fires. These incidents persist even as discussions continue under the “framework agreement” and direct negotiations between the Israeli and Lebanese authorities.

The Hezbollah resistance movement has primarily blamed the ongoing violence on what it terms as the “silent, absent, and complicit” Lebanese authorities. The group asserts that by signing the framework agreement, the government has effectively legitimized Israeli occupation and military actions.

On Wednesday, tensions heightened significantly.

On Wednesday evening, Israeli occupation forces launched significant strikes in areas including Mansouri, Burj al-Shamali, and near the Ali al-Taher Heights, leading to several injuries. Concurrently, a bombing incident was reported in the town of Haddatha.

The recent escalation of hostilities comes in the wake of a lethal assault on a mosque in Tibnin on Tuesday, resulting in the death of one person and injuries to 12 more. Furthermore, occupation forces allegedly ignited fires in forested zones above the Al-Shamis district, located between two towers at the edge of Kfarshouba, heightening the unrest in the already tense border area.
