Zionist Regime Forces Killed Two Palestinians Following Suspected Car-Ramming Incident in Occupied West Bank
Israeli forces have reportedly shot and killed two Palestinian men following allegations that one of them attempted to execute a car-ramming attack in the southern West Bank. This incident occurs amid intensified raids by the regime's forces throughout the occupied region.

In a statement, the Israeli military reported that a vehicle accelerated towards soldiers of the Paratrooper Brigade near a military checkpoint in the city of al-Khalil late on Saturday, prompting the soldiers to open fire.
According to the statement, a soldier incurred minor injuries.
Palestinian media have reported that the victims have been identified as 55-year-old Ziad Na’im Jabara Abu Dawud, a municipal sanitation worker who was in the vicinity at the time, and 20-year-old Ahmad Khalil Rajabi.
According to reports from witnesses, Israeli forces allegedly opened fire on Abu Dawud, subsequently leaving him without immediate medical assistance, resulting in his death from his injuries. It was only later that his body was handed over to teams from the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS).
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) has confirmed that its medical team transported the body of Abu Dawud to al-Khalil Governmental Hospital. Meanwhile, Israeli forces withheld the release of Rajabi’s corpse, opting instead to take the body with them.
In a related incident, Israeli forces detained four young men at the entrance of the al-Arroub refugee camp, located north of al-Khalil.
The Palestine Red Crescent Society has reported an incident in which a man was wounded by gunfire from Israeli forces near the separation barrier in the town of al-Ram, located northeast of occupied al-Quds.
Palestinian resistance fighters deployed an improvised explosive device against forces conducting a raid on the village of Silat al-Harithiya, situated approximately 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) northwest of Jenin. At this time, there have been no immediate reports of potential casualties among the occupation troops.
In the West Bank, Palestinians are encountering heightened military operations by Israeli forces, as well as a surge in violent incidents involving settlers. This situation is developing concurrently with the severe conflict in Gaza, where the death toll has surpassed 70,000 since October 2023.
For several months, human rights organizations have been raising alarms about the escalating risk of ethnic cleansing faced by Palestinians in the West Bank, amid ongoing violence in the region.
In July 2024, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) delivered a ruling declaring Israel’s extended occupation of historic Palestine as unlawful, urging the dismantling of all settlements presently located in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
While the advisory opinion from the court is not legally enforceable, it holds considerable political influence as it marks the first occasion on which the International Court of Justice has assessed the legality of the 57-year occupation.
