Senior Hezbollah Official: Aggression and Occupation are Putting Zionist Regime on Brink of Collapse

The Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement's top official has denounced the Israeli forces' raids on al-Aqsa Mosque and their brutal assaults on Palestinian worshipers, asserting that these futile efforts are only hastening the demise of the Tel Aviv regime.

On Monday, Hezbollah Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem tweeted that Palestinians possess the secret to victory – faithful struggle and resistance – whereas Israelis have the key to downfall – oppression and occupation.

He pointed out that we are now at a stage where it is inconceivable to consider the Israeli regime as stable and legitimate.

Sheikh Nabil Qaouk, deputy head of the executive council of Hezbollah, recently declared Hezbollah’s enduring commitment to Palestine, stressing that the Lebanese resistance will always be in the vanguard of the struggle for the downtrodden nation.

At an event in southern Lebanon on Sunday, he declared: “Hezbollah is firmly on the front line of the campaign to protect the Palestinian nation and resistance, and we will remain steadfast along this path until the end. Nothing can shake our resolve and determination.”

Sheikh Qaouk strongly denounced Israel’s “intolerable” aggression against Palestinian worshippers at al-Aqsa Mosque in the Old City of Jerusalem.

The high-ranking Hezbollah official noted that every honorable Muslim should do whatever is within their power to support al-Aqsa Mosque, as it is a moral and religious duty they must fulfill without hesitation. He further stated that the Israeli enemy is having its worst days since 1984 due to the equations created by the resistance.

Hundreds of Palestinians have been wounded and arrested by Israeli forces in the escalation of attacks since the start of Ramadan. Illegal Israeli settlers have been taking advantage of the protection from the Israeli military and police force to freely enter the compound.

Since the beginning of Ramadan, the Israeli authorities have implemented severe restrictions on the passage of Palestinians in and out of al-Aqsa Mosque’s gates. This has occurred in the midst of escalating tensions with Palestinian worshippers, while Israeli settlers continue to carry out their recurrent incursions and provocative ceremonies at the sacred place.

At least 30 rockets were said to be fired from southern Lebanon into the Israeli-occupied territories on Thursday, in response to Israeli aggression against al-Aqsa. Additionally, multiple rockets were launched from Gaza by resistance fighters towards the occupied territories.

According to Palestinian sources, the Iron Dome defense system of the regime was not able to stop most of the rockets fired in retaliation. In response to the rocket attack, Israeli warplanes attacked sites inside Gaza and the positions of Hamas in Lebanon.

In recent months, the Israeli government has committed more atrocities, resulting in the deaths of approximately 100 Palestinians this year.
