Sayyed al-Sadr slams Ahwaz attack: Be patient, you will win

A prominent Iraqi cleric on Sunday condemned the terrorist attack in Iran which claimed the lives of dozens of people.

‘Be patient, you will win,’ the leader of the Sadrist Movement of Iraq said in a twitter message.

The cleric said that the moderate people of Iran are strong enough and such attacks by extremist elements cannot frighten them.

Some 29 people, including military and civilians were killed and 60 others wounded.

More than 30 countries and a number of officials in the world have condemned the terrorist incident on Saturday in Ahvaz and expressed sympathy with the Iranian people.

The authorities of Pakistan, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Egypt, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Turkey, Syria, Russia, Armenia, Bolivia, Venezuela, Mexico, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Nicaragua, Indonesia, Philippines, as well as the Secretary-General of the United Nations and the Ambassador of Germany in Tehran reacted to this terrorist incident and condemned it.
