Palestinian killed in Gaza, eight arrested across West Bank

A Palestinian was killed by Israeli occupation forces east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip on Sunday, according to Palestinian sources.

The Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that Israeli forces opened fire on a young Palestinian near the Bani Suheila roundabout east of Khan Younis, resulting in his death.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the total number of victims of Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip since the ceasefire of Oct. 10 has reached 984 killed and 3,122 injured.

In the West Bank, Israeli occupation forces arrested seven Palestinians from the town of Anata, east of Jerusalem, amid continuing raids and arrest campaigns across various areas.

Israeli forces also arrested a young man from the town of Zawiya, west of Salfit, after raiding the town and searching several homes.

In Bethlehem governorate, Israeli forces entered the village of Husan and the city of Beit Sahour and searched a number of homes without any arrests being reported. They also closed the entrance to the village of Nabi Elias east of Qalqilya, as well as the Azzun–Jiyous road, disrupting the movement of Palestinians.
