On Sunday, the Persian and Chinese accounts of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, highlighted on X that Iran and China, two nations with rich and ancient civilizations, hold the potential to effect significant changes both regionally and globally. The statement emphasized that fully executing the strategic agreement between the two countries could facilitate such transformations.
This announcement follows the departure of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s President, Masoud Pezeshkian, to China on Sunday, where he is set to participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit.
