Israeli occupation forces shell Quneitra countryside

Israeli occupation forces shelled agricultural land and a hillside in the Damascus Countryside and Quneitra countryside on Saturday, a SANA correspondent reported.
In the western Damascus Countryside, artillery rounds struck the vicinity of Bat al-Warda hill near the town of Beit Jinn, with no casualties reported.
Israeli forces also shelled agricultural land south of the town of al-Rafid in the southern Quneitra countryside, followed by gunfire from occupation forces positioned on al-Jalaa hill within the occupied Syrian Golan, with no casualties reported.
On Sept. 3, Israeli forces shelled the same area near Bat al-Warda hill with four artillery rounds, with no casualties reported.
Israel continues to violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through repeated incursions into southern Syria, raiding homes, detaining civilians, bulldozing land and carrying out shelling attacks.
Syria consistently demands the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from its territory, stressing that all Israeli measures are null and void under international law, and calls on the international community to assume its responsibilities and compel Israel to withdraw fully from southern Syria.
