Israeli occupation forces enter Wadi Abidin in western Daraa countryside

Israeli occupation forces entered the valley adjacent to Abidin village in the Yarmouk Basin area of western Daraa countryside on Sunday, preventing farmers from carrying out agricultural work, SANA’s reporter said.

The force, comprising three military vehicles, withdrew toward Jamla town before returning to the occupied territory through the Tal Abu al-Ghaithar gate. One Israeli soldier damaged a farmer’s motorcycle during the incursion, according to the reporter.

Continued incursions in southern Syria

The incursion came a day after Israeli occupation forces entered al-Mushayrifah village in Quneitra countryside and the road leading to Durbul town in Damascus countryside, where they searched pedestrians, vehicles and homes.

Israeli occupation forces continue to violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through repeated incursions into southern Syria, raids on civilian homes, arrests, land leveling and shelling.

Syria has repeatedly called for Israeli forces to withdraw from its territory, describing Israeli measures as illegal and void and without legal effect under international law. Damascus has urged the international community to uphold its responsibilities and ensure a full Israeli withdrawal from southern Syria.
