Iraq to target Daesh positions in Syria with Assad greenlight
An Iraqi military source revealed the fact that Iraq will bombard Daesh terrorists’ positions in Syria with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s greenlight.
Iraqi jetfighters will have the permission to use the Syrian airspace without any agreement from Damascus, Russian media ‘RT Arabic’ quoted the source as saying.
They will be permitted to bombard Daesh positions, he added.
It is worth mentioning that Assad had received a letter from Adil Abdul-Mahdi, Iraqi Prime Minister.
The letter has been submitted to Assad by Falih Alfayyadh, Advisor of the National Security Council.
Developing relations between two countries, the importance of coordination between Syria and Iraq in all fields, especially in fighting terrorism and establishing cooperation on border issues were among topics mentioned in the letter.
This is while, Iraqi jetfighters have some strikes on Daesh positions inside Syrian soil.
