Iranian Top Commander Asserts National Security and Independence Impervious to Threats
A high-ranking official in the Iranian military has declared that no threat is capable of compromising the security and sovereignty of the Islamic Republic, emphasizing the steadfast readiness of the nation's Armed Forces.
Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari, serving as deputy chief of the Iranian Army for Coordination, delivered his remarks on Friday during an address to cadets and faculty members at Tehran’s Imam Ali Officers’ University. The institution, regarded as the nation’s leading military academy, is pivotal in training future Army officers and fostering leadership skills rooted in contemporary defense and strategic doctrines.
Sayyari emphasized that lasting peace and stability can be achieved solely through power, preparedness, and deterrence.
He stated that conflict arises in the absence of preparedness. Consequently, as long as the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran maintain a high level of readiness in training, equipment, and morale, adversaries will lack the capacity to pose a threat or launch an attack.
He stated that Iran’s well-trained and dedicated military forces are poised to triumph in any conflict, underscoring their commitment to upholding the nation’s sovereignty and principles.
A senior military commander outlined the Army’s primary responsibilities as maintaining territorial integrity, ensuring the country’s independence, and safeguarding the principles of the Islamic Republic.
He emphasized that every activity, training session, and program within the Army is centered around these three guiding principles, calling on personnel to adhere to them in every situation.
Sayyari emphasized that Iran’s military is consistently advancing its prowess in key areas such as training, technological development, and morale, in order to more effectively accomplish their objectives.
He stated that bolstering professional capabilities and updating equipment to counter emerging threats are crucial for sustaining deterrence and ensuring military effectiveness.
He further emphasized that the Army’s strength derives from its faith, foresight, and commitment to the guidance of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, who has persistently advocated for the enhancement of the nation’s defense capabilities.
He stated that with these principles firmly established within the Armed Forces, no threat can compromise the security and independence of Islamic Iran.
