Iranian Officials Herald Mass Turnout at Islamic Revolution Anniversary as Testament to National Strength

Iran’s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, stated that the public turnout delivered a clear signal to the international community and bolstered Iran’s stance in diplomatic efforts and negotiations.

He expressed optimism in the areas of diplomacy and negotiations, attributing this to the efforts of both the nation’s citizens and its armed forces.

The statement emphasized that the involvement serves as a reassurance to officials of the nation’s backing, highlighting that the Islamic Republic’s armed forces are steadfast in their commitment to safeguarding the country.

Araghchi characterized the anniversary as a “positive occasion,” highlighting the “remarkable” involvement and widespread public support for the diplomatic strategy of the Islamic Republic.

He expressed appreciation for the support from citizens, the military, and leaders, noting that such backing would bolster the country’s diplomatic influence.

He also indicated that the scheduling and venue for the forthcoming negotiations remain undecided.

In remarks delivered during the sidelines of the rallies, Minister of Petroleum Mohsen Paknejad extended his congratulations to the nation on the anniversary. He highlighted the steadfast commitment of the Iranian people to the enduring ideals of the Revolution.

Addressing the issue of oil sanctions, which Tehran perceives as an element of a wider campaign of economic pressure orchestrated by the United States with Israeli backing, he stated that his counterparts in the energy sector have formulated strategies to overcome the current restrictions.

“Our nation will not encounter significant issues,” he emphasized, underlining the continuation of oil sales in spite of the sanctions placed on the country.

The Defense Minister, Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh, characterized the turnout this year as unparalleled.

He remarked that he had never witnessed such an enthusiastic turnout in any previous year. He further noted that the Iranian populace is well-informed about global developments and participated with clear awareness.

Nasirzadeh asserted that the current presence represents a force greater than any bomb or missile. In response to threats from adversarial nations, he stated that Iran would retaliate with formidable strength in manners that are beyond the enemies’ comprehension.

Intelligence Minister Esmail Khatib remarked that the rallies served as a tangible demonstration of national unity, a theme that has been persistently highlighted by the president. He noted that unity has transitioned from a mere concept to a reality through active public engagement.

In response to inquiries about maintaining unity, Khatib emphasized that the optimal way forward involves mutual support, constructive engagement, and respectful tolerance of diverse perspectives.

Education Minister Alireza Kazemi characterized the demonstrations as a reflection of the nation’s authority and legitimacy.

He stated that the high turnout is the “most effective response” to antagonistic rhetoric and schemes in the global arena, chiefly from Israel and its Western allies.

Kazemi asserts that the synchronization of the military, law enforcement, and the general public offers robust support for the government alongside its diplomatic initiatives, yielding beneficial effects internationally.

Judiciary Chief Gholamhossein Mohseni-Eje’i participated in a rally in Tehran, reaffirming his commitment to the principles established by the founders of the Revolution.

He stated that citizens throughout Iran orchestrated a significant demonstration, surpassing the grandeur of previous years, showcasing their resolute support for the establishment, Islam, and the nation.

Eje’i stated that the demonstrations conveyed two distinct messages. The first, he noted, was aimed at “treacherous and oppressive adversaries” who have recently resorted to verbal attacks and intimidation.

Iranian citizens have issued a decisive rebuttal to recent statements, demonstrating increased preparedness to safeguard their nation, according to official remarks.

He emphasized that the second message was directed towards officials, urging them to enhance their efforts in addressing public concerns, diligently solve issues, and ensure security and welfare.

He emphasized the importance of remaining connected to the populace, stating, “These individuals, who have consistently supported the Revolution, deserve the utmost level of service.”

During the march held in Tehran, the head of the Judiciary engaged directly with attendees, attentively addressing their concerns. This interaction emphasized the initiative to portray the anniversary not merely as a symbolic occasion but also as an indication of ongoing public involvement amidst persistent external pressures.
