Iran Denounces Terrorist ‘israeli’ Regime for ‘Brutal War Crime’ in Deadly Gaza Hospital Bombing
The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson has issued a strong denunciation of Israel's recent actions in the Gaza Strip, labeling the bombing of the region's sole functioning hospital in the south as a heinous crime. The attack resulted in the deaths of at least 20 Palestinians.

Esmaeil Baghaei commented Monday, following the Israeli military’s execution of double-tap strikes on the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis. The attack resulted in casualties, including five journalists, as well as patients, healthcare personnel, and first responders who arrived at the scene after the initial assault.
Baghaei criticized Israel’s actions, highlighting the significant loss of life resulting from what was described as the “savage bombing” of a hospital. He accused the Zionist regime of perpetrating a “brutal war crime,” asserting that this was part of a larger strategy aimed at genocide and the eradication of Palestine as a nation and its identity.
He criticized the ongoing inactivity of international bodies and self-described human rights advocates, labeling it as “shameful” in response to Israel’s severe breaches of human rights and humanitarian law in the blockaded Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank.
The spokesperson stated that all governments hold both legal and moral responsibilities to halt acts of genocide and to hold accountable those identified as Nazi and racist Zionist perpetrators.
A call has been issued for the military and political backers of the occupying regime, notably the United States, to be held accountable by the international community for their alleged complicity and partnership in crimes against the Palestinian population, as stated.
The Palestinian Presidency issued a strong condemnation of the attack, describing it as “a new war crime.” They assert that this incident contributes to an ongoing pattern of alleged crimes and massacres perpetrated by the Israeli occupation, aimed at suppressing Palestinian media and silencing the voice of truth.
According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, an initial strike targeted the hospital’s fourth floor, followed by a subsequent strike that impacted ambulance crews and emergency responders.
The Israeli military has acknowledged responsibility for the tragic attack that resulted in the deaths of journalists affiliated with international media organizations, including the Associated Press, Reuters, Al Jazeera, and the Middle East Eye.
The Foreign Press Association, representing international media operating in the occupied territories and Palestine, expressed its profound shock and outrage over the recent assault. The association is calling for an immediate explanation from the Israeli military and the office of the Israeli prime minister.
In a statement, a call was made for Israel to permanently cease its practice of targeting journalists, which was described as abhorrent.
Describing the situation as a pivotal moment, there is an urgent call to international leaders, urging them to take all necessary actions to safeguard colleagues. The statement emphasizes the inability to address the issue independently.
According to reports from the Gaza health ministry, Israeli military actions have resulted in the deaths of 62,744 Palestinians, predominantly women and children, and left 158,259 others injured since October 2023. These figures emerge amid ongoing hostilities in the blockaded region.
