Iran Denounces Nazi-Style Propaganda Regarding Riot Fatalities

On Sunday, Baghaei drew parallels between a figure presented in a recent Open Source Intel post on platform X and tactics employed by Nazi Germany under Adolf Hitler. He highlighted the method of persistently repeating a “Big Lie” as a striking resemblance.
In a post on his X account, Baghaei likened a piece of information to a “Hitler-style BIG LIE” and questioned whether it correlated with the number of individuals allegedly targeted for harm in the streets of Iran.
He cited reports suggesting that foreign-backed agitators aimed to target a significant number of civilians, intending to hold the government responsible for the violence.
In his post, Trump accused them of failing and now attempting to fabricate stories in the media, describing the actions as truly vicious.
According to official figures released by the Iranian government, over 3,000 individuals lost their lives during riots and acts of terrorism that swept across various cities and towns in early January.
The unrest intensified on January 8 and persisted over several days, sparked by initially peaceful demonstrations in Iranian bazaars and markets. Traders rallied for governmental measures to address the depreciating Iranian rial.
The unrest led to significant damage across public and private sectors, causing widespread devastation to businesses, government buildings, and public service infrastructure.
Iranian officials have accused the United States and Israeli intelligence agencies of direct involvement in the recent unrest, alleging they provided financial resources, training, and media assistance to those participating in the riots and armed confrontations.
