Iran Defiant as Qalibaf Declares Unyielding Stance Amid ‘israeli’ Tensions
The speaker of Iran's Parliament has accused Israel of attempting to subject its targeted nations to either forced warfare or deceptive peace. He firmly stated that the Islamic Republic will not bow to such pressures.
Mohammad-Baqer Qalibaf delivered his remarks at a ceremony on Wednesday, honoring Iranian martyrs in the northeastern province of North Khorasan.
The comments addressed the regime’s long-standing tendency to either launch unprovoked attacks against neighboring countries or to forge “peace” agreements with the aim of accomplishing objectives not achieved through conflict.
The senior lawmaker highlighted the territorial advances made by the “expansionist and child-killing regime,” noting its ongoing acts of aggression on a daily basis.
The top legislator firmly declared that there would be no surrender or capture.
As an example of Iranian resilience, he referenced the Islamic Republic’s successful deflection of aggression by both the regime and the United States in June, noting that the retaliatory measures marked a historic milestone.
In response to ongoing aggression, the Iranian Armed Forces implemented a series of strategic defensive measures to thwart infiltration and destabilization attempts by the adversaries. They effectively retaliated against continuous airstrikes, underscoring their capability to withstand and counteract the invasion.
Qalibaf highlighted that in the approximately 80 years since the regime declared its presence in the West Asia region, no nation has ever challenged it to this extent.
Within just five days of the reprisal launch, “everyone was seeking to mediate a ceasefire with us,” he stated.
An official criticized the United States’ involvement in the aggression, stating that it contradicted the ongoing indirect talks between Washington and Tehran at the time.
The United States was advocating for peace and dialogue, with Trump issuing calls for conciliation. However, simultaneously, American aircraft were en route to target our nuclear facilities with bombings.
Highlighting the nation’s unwavering resilience in the face of external hostilities, the official emphasized its steadfastness during the Western-backed conflict initiated by Iraq in the 1980s.
Throughout the conflict, our combatants maintained an unwavering resolve, consistently asserting that the objective was imperative. They refrained from revealing any shortages in manpower or equipment to adversaries. Instead, demonstrating both wisdom and maturity, they effectively marshaled all available resources.
Qalibaf emphasized the nation’s unwavering commitment to the path established by the thousands of martyrs who have sacrificed their lives since the triumph of Iran’s Islamic Revolution in 1979, dedicated to securing the country’s safety and prosperity.
He referred to the Iranian nation as one that “has embraced a path of martyrdom.”
The security enjoyed by the nation today, along with its exemplary dignity and independence, can be attributed to the culture of martyrdom and the dedicated contributions from committed fighters and citizens of diverse backgrounds, cultures, and faiths.
