Iran Accuses Israel of Inciting Riots to Facilitate U.S. Aggression; Declares Full Control
In recent developments, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has attributed the recent foreign-backed unrest in Iran to an alleged Israeli scheme. According to Araghchi, the purported plan is designed to intensify the situation and provoke renewed American hostility towards the Islamic Republic.

In an exclusive interview with Fox News’ Special Report hosted by Brett Baier on Wednesday, the chief diplomat delivered key remarks.
In reaction to allegations of a high death toll in Iran, circulated by American and Israeli media, among others, Araghchi has clarified that the actual number of fatalities remains in the hundreds.
He stated that the violence did not stem from economic protests but was incited by external terrorist groups that infiltrated the demonstrations. These groups, he noted, were accused of intensifying the situation by launching attacks on Iranian security forces and civilians.
He claimed that coordinated terrorist units infiltrated the protests, executing operations reminiscent of Daesh. According to his statement, these groups targeted police officers, burning them alive, beheading them, and also aimed at civilians. “For three days, it wasn’t a battle against protesters,” he noted, “it was a confrontation with terrorists.”
The official stated that these rogue elements were intentionally escalating violence in an effort to incite a military response from the United States.
The objective, he observed, was to escalate the casualty count in an attempt to rationalize foreign intervention in the turmoil.
“They aimed to escalate the number of fatalities. The intention? Trump had earlier declared that U.S. intervention would follow if killings occurred. Their objective was to entangle the United States in this conflict,” Araghchi alleged. “This was a calculated scheme by Israel. They endeavored to increase casualties by targeting civilians and law enforcement personnel.”
Iran’s Foreign Minister has emphasized the steadfast determination of the Iranian people to uphold their national sovereignty and security in response to external interference. This statement comes amid ongoing tensions and accusations of foreign involvement in domestic affairs.
He, meanwhile, emphasized that the Islamic Republic had regained full control over the security situation in the country, highlighting the security forces’ successful suppression of the riotous elements.
Araghchi conveyed optimism that rationality will take precedence to avert a renewed escalation. “We should hope to avoid a heightened level of tension, as it could have catastrophic consequences for all parties involved,” he stated.
Iranian officials have reiterated their commitment to tackling the country’s economic challenges while maintaining a firm stance against any attempts to escalate protests into unrest.
