Hamas Leader: ‘israel’ Transforming Gaza into a ‘Nazi Concentration Camp’

A senior official from Hamas has alleged that the Israeli occupation has turned Gaza into what was described as "a Nazi concentration camp," further claiming that the regime is engaged in acts of genocide.

In a televised address on Monday evening, Osama Hamdan accused Israel of intentionally starving Palestinians and preventing the entry of 22,000 aid trucks into the region.

Hamdan stated that the occupation persists in its campaign of genocide and starvation against Gaza, facilitated by American backing and met with international silence.

In a recent UN Security Council session focused on Gaza, Trump expressed criticism towards Washington, accusing it of trying to divert attention to the topic of Israeli prisoners.

Hamdan has reported that close to 1,500 Palestinians have lost their lives as a result of Israeli assaults on those seeking aid. He characterized these actions as a component of a broader strategy aimed at enforcing starvation upon the Gaza populace.

According to the report, the number of individuals who have succumbed to starvation has climbed to 180, among them 93 children, with an alarming 96% of families now experiencing food insecurity.

The Gaza Strip is currently experiencing an acute shortage of infant formula and essential health supplies necessary to address widespread hunger. There are presently 22,000 aid trucks stationed at the crossings, as the people of the region continue to endure significant hardship, he reported.

Hamdan alleged that the Israeli occupation is deliberately obstructing the delivery of aid, characterizing it as a component of a broader strategy of starvation.

He described the humanitarian situation in Gaza as catastrophic, underscoring the immediate necessity for vital health supplies to address hunger and malnutrition.

Hamdan claimed that Israel’s actions constitute crimes against humanity, executed with unwavering American endorsement, highlighting an apparent double standard in Washington’s policies.

Hamas has asserted that Israeli captives are being treated “in accordance with Islamic values and principles,” emphasizing that they share in the same hardships experienced by the people of Gaza.

He characterized Israel’s handling of Palestinian detainees as involving acts of torture, severe retribution, and humiliation.

Hamdan stressed that the quietude from the international community and United Nations bodies concerning Israel’s military actions imposes a moral and humanitarian obligation upon them.

Hamas has shown a readiness to collaborate with the Red Cross in supplying food and medicine to Israeli captives, while also stressing the urgent need to establish humanitarian corridors into Gaza.

On October 7, 2023, Israel initiated a military campaign in Gaza. Despite significant casualties reaching nearly 61,000 Palestinians, predominantly women and children, the campaign has not succeeded in fulfilling its stated objectives.

Human rights organizations have denounced the Israeli blockade on essential supplies, labeling it as a crime against humanity and a blatant breach of international law.

Since May, Israeli military actions have resulted in the deaths of over 1,330 Palestinian aid seekers, with more than 8,810 others sustaining injuries, primarily during operations at GHF centers.

United Nations agencies have reported that over 6,000 Palestinian children are currently receiving treatment for malnutrition caused by a comprehensive blockade of Gaza.

At least 175 individuals, among them 93 children, have reportedly succumbed to starvation in Gaza following the commencement of hostilities by Israel in October 2023.

Israel has dismissed appeals from the United Nations, humanitarian organizations, and international leaders to permit a greater number of aid trucks into the blockaded area in an effort to ease the ongoing crisis.

Reports indicate that the number of Palestinians succumbing each day to the effects of forced starvation and malnutrition continues to rise.

In the besieged territory, parents are witnessing their children’s health deteriorate amid escalating hunger threats. This dire situation arises from intentional aid restrictions imposed by Israel, resulting in starvation becoming an increasing cause of fatalities.

The Palestinian population has been heavily dependent on United Nations agencies and other partners for food distribution. However, Israel has dismantled the UN-supported aid delivery system, substituting it with a contentious mechanism backed by the United States. Humanitarian aid workers and authorities in Gaza argue that this change has only worsened the crisis.
