Hamas and Islamic Jihad Condemn Terrorist ‘israel’s’ Fascist Aggression Targeting Civilian Infrastructure in Yemen
Hamas and Islamic Jihad have condemned Israel's lethal strikes on the capital of Yemen and its civilian infrastructure, labeling the actions as "a blatant violation of international law" and asserting they are the repercussions of defending Palestine.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Hamas claimed that Israel’s “fascist aggression” towards Yemen is aimed at preventing Yemeni support for the Palestinian cause.
A statement issued by officials denounced what was described as “terrorist Zionist aggression” against Yemen, highlighting that attacks on residential and civilian areas represent a clear infringement on the sovereignty of Arab nations and a breach of international laws.
“This fascist aggression seeks to discourage Yemen from backing the Palestinian populace facing oppression,” the statement concluded.
The resistance group based in Gaza has emphasized the need for a strong Arab and Islamic stance to back Yemen and show solidarity with the Palestinian people amid Zionist aggression and colonial ambitions. This call to action comes in response to Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu’s recent remarks expressing a desire to pursue the “Greater Israel vision,” which involves the acquisition of Arab territories.
In a recent statement, Hamas has urged Arab and Islamic countries, as well as supporters globally, to unite in the effort to end occupation and liberate sacred locations and occupied Arab territories.
Israel conducted a series of lethal airstrikes in Sana’a, Yemen on Sunday, resulting in the deaths of at least six individuals and injuring 86 more, according to reports.
Strikes have targeted the Hazeiz power station and a civilian fuel facility, resulting in widespread power outages and leaving parts of the capital in darkness.
Israel has announced that it targeted the presidential palace in Sana’a, characterizing the site as part of a “military complex.”
In another statement, Islamic Jihad denounced Israel’s actions against civilian infrastructure and criticized the targeting of Yemeni leaders.
A resistance group has stated that the assaults amount to war crimes with full backing from the United States.
The statement highlighted that the Yemeni population is bearing the consequences of their unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and their actions aimed at halting the violence in the Gaza Strip.
Ansarallah has reaffirmed its unwavering support for the Gaza Strip, declaring its commitment to aid the region regardless of the sacrifices involved.
In the wake of recent Israeli actions, Mohammed al-Bukhaiti, a member of the political bureau of the Ansarullah resistance movement, asserted, “The Israeli aggression on Yemen will not deter us from maintaining our support for Gaza, irrespective of the sacrifices involved.”
In response to Yemen’s recent missile strike on occupied territories, the attacks by the Israeli regime on Yemen have been described as a direct reaction. It has been indicated that this latest aggression “will be met with further operations.”
On Sunday evening, Ansarallah’s political office issued a statement condemning the regime’s actions in Yemen, describing them as a “futile attempt to deter the Yemeni people and military forces from providing support to the Gaza Strip.”
The ongoing actions by the Zionist regime have been characterized as an endeavor to secure a “symbolic victory,” reflecting an intelligence shortfall and an incapacity to effectively counter Yemen’s military maneuvers.
Yemen has committed to taking all necessary measures to protect its sovereignty in response to hostile actions, as stated in a recent announcement.
