Expansion of Gaza war will mark beginning of Zionist enemy’s end: Popular Resistance Committees

“An all-out war will mark the beginning of the end of the Zionist regime,” Abu Mujahid told Lebanon’s Arabic-language al-Mayadeen television news network on Wednesday.

He emphasized that the Palestinians’ resistance against Israeli acts of aggression cannot be broken down, and continues to be cherished vigorously among the nation.

“Equations on the ground have changed, especially in the wake of recent attacks by the Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement in the northern flank of the occupied territories. The military might and precision of resistance forces in targeting the Zionist enemy has led to its confusion.

“Zionists are hiding their losses and damage in major military bases. The in-depth information that Hezbollah possesses about different fronts has astonished the military and security institutions of the Zionist regime,” he added.

Over the past few days, Hezbollah has launched missile and drone strikes against a strategic air base on Mount Meron and the Israeli military’s Northern Command in response to the regime’s assassinations of top Hamas and Hezbollah officials. The attacks have “seriously damaged” the installations.

The PRC spokesman went on to describe as “entirely futile” all Israeli attempts to forcibly displace Palestinians from their lands, stressing that the Palestinian nation stands fiercely loyal to its ancestral territories and cause.

Abu Mujahid noted that the usurping Israeli regime is well aware of the fact that it has miserably failed in the face of Gaza-based resistance factions, and cannot burnish its international image following the large-scale and surprise attack by Palestinian fighters in early October last year.

He also saluted resistance forces in Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq and Syria, pointing out that the forces “have come together, and are exerting relentless pressure on Israel to stop the Gaza aggression.”

He noted that resistance forces continue to defend Palestinians, and that intermittent clashes and operations against the Israeli military are ongoing in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, despite the Tel Aviv regime’s claim that it has redeployed in several neighborhoods.

Palestinian resistance factions will soon release videos that will reveal the scope of damage and casualties that the Zionist enemy has suffered as a result of the Gaza war; the footage will expose what the occupation forces have been trying to hide, Abu Mujahid said.

Israel waged the war on Gaza on October 7 after Palestinian resistance groups of Hamas and Islamic Jihad carried out the surprise Operation Al-Aqsa Storm into the occupied territories in response to the occupying regime’s intensified crimes against the Palestinian people.

At least 23,357 Palestinians, most of them women and children, have been killed in the war, and 59,410 individuals injured.

Tel Aviv has also imposed a “complete siege” on Gaza, cutting off fuel, electricity, food, and water to the more than two million Palestinians living there.
