‘Danger will reach your doorstep too’: Yemen warns Arab states over silence on Gaza

The chairman of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council has called on all Muslim and Arab countries to take strong action against Israel, warning they will face penalties too if they do not break their silence on the regime’s genocide and starvation of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

In a statement sent to Yemen’s official Saba news agency on Wednesday, Mahdi al-Mashat said the Zionist machine of deceptions, lies, and propaganda has silenced the world in the face of the ongoing Israeli war of extermination in the besieged Gaza.

He added that those who fail to take a stance on Gaza will be unable to escape danger when it comes for them, adding that those unmoved by the starving victims have lost their faith and dignity.

“We must unite to erase our shame before history condemns us; the responsibility is on everyone,” he noted.

Mashat also expressed Yemen’s readiness to be at the forefront of a united campaign against the Zionist regime and its evil supporters.

Addressing Arab and Muslim rulers, he said, “If you are unable to act, then let the nations rise. But if they, too, fail to stand up, the consequences of silence will engulf every nation of the Ummah. By the time danger reaches your doorstep, it will be too late to resist.”

Over 100 aid groups warn of ‘mass starvation’ across Gaza, demand sanctions on Israel

More than 109 aid groups have called for action against Israel, warning that “mass starvation is spreading” across the besieged Gaza Strip.

Israel unleashed its brutal onslaught on October 7, 2023, after the Hamas resistance group carried out its historic operation against the occupying entity in retaliation for the regime’s intensified atrocities against the Palestinian people.

The Tel Aviv regime has so far failed to achieve its declared objectives of eliminating Hamas and freeing all captives in Gaza, despite killing 59,219  Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injuring 143,045 others.

A mass starvation is also gripping Gaza due to Israel’s inhumane blockade on the territory that prevents the entry of all essential supplies.
