“Clerics struggle to introduce kind image of Islam to world people”

Hujjat-ul-Islam Seyyed Javad Golpaygani, professor at Qom Seminary, met with head of the research center for proximity studies, referred to growing popularity of Islam in post-Islamic Revolution saying that enemies created extremist groups in an attempt to prevent this growing popularity, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He referred to concerns of the world arrogant powers for the growing popularity of Islam among people to the point that they created Takfiri (excommunication) and extremist groups to tarnish the blessing image of Islam.

The cleric stressed,” At present it is a mission for Muslim clerics to introduce the kind image of Islam once again.”

Religious figure hailed the publication of encyclopedia on the lifestyle of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) saying that the effort can have clear influences on Muslim unity.

Professor at Qom Seminary reiterated creation of solidarity as the most important responsibility for Muslim scholars and added,” At present Wahhabism is actively imposing its ideologies and this adds to the burden of the clerics to join Muslim communities and introduce true Islam to the world.”

Hujjat-ul-Islam Seyyed Javad Golpaygani, praised activities of the Islamic proximity research center in expansion of relations between clerics saying that increasing the meetings between Shia and Sunni scholars will deepen their ties.
