Clashes broke out overnight between dozens of youths and a group of Israeli settlers protected by Israeli forces in Sabsatia town north of Nablus. Local sources affirmed that several cars carrying Israeli settlers stormed the town and performed Talmudic rituals in an archaeological site in the area which led to the outbreak of violent clashes amid heavy firing of teargas bombs.

The town has recently witnessed several settlers’ break-ins into the town with the aim of performing Talmudic rituals. Meanwhile, a group of settlers tried to storm Beit Dajan town east of Nablus before withdrawing from the area at night. The settlers’ break-ins came in coincidence with the Jewish holidays.
