US-Israeli war on Iran killed 3,483, injured more than 40,000

Iran’s Health Ministry reports 3,483 deaths and 40,000 injuries following the US and Israeli aggression, according to official spokesperson statements.

The US-Israeli aggression on Iran has killed 3,483 people and injured over 40,000 others, according to a recent update by Iran’s Ministry of Health cited by the head of the ministry’s press office, Hossein Kermanpour.

Kermanpour stated that the updated statistics are based on the latest available records from Iranian health authorities and hospitals.

During the joint war on Iran, which was launched on February 28 and was halted with a fragile ceasefire on April 8, “Israel” and the United States repeatedly targeted civilian sites and infrastructure intentionally, including hospitals, bridges, schools, playgrounds, and homes.

A notorious attack directly targeted an elementary school in Minab using two Tomahawk missiles, killing 168 little girls. By the end of March, Iran’s Ministry of Education announced that more than 230 students and teachers have been killed, while 177 others from the educational sector have been injured since the start of the US-“Israel” war on Iran.

The ministry added that over 600 educational and cultural facilities have been destroyed, underscoring the scale of damage inflicted on the country’s education sector.

Aggression on Iran continues

The truce declared on April 8 has so far been repeatedly violated by both “Israel” and the United States. “Israel” has resumed the aggression on Lebanon and continues carrying out daily massacres despite Lebanon being a major provision in the ceasefire agreement, while the US blockades the Strait of Hormuz and has recently launched sporadic attacks against Iranian assets in Qeshm Island.

Talks are on hold after Iran declared that it would not negotiate under fire or succumb to its adversaries’ threats. Instead, it outlined five conditions that would advance negotiations, which include: Ending the war across all fronts, particularly in Lebanon, lifting sanctions on Iran, unfreezing Iranian assets, compensating Tehran for damages caused during the war, and recognizing Iran’s sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz.

Iranian officials conveyed their position to Pakistan, which has been mediating indirect talks between Tehran and Washington.

A source added that the ongoing US naval blockade against Iranian ports has reinforced Tehran’s belief that Washington cannot be trusted in negotiations.
