Iran and Lebanon Bolster Relations with Strong Cultural Bonds: Pezeshkian
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized that the relationship between Iran and Lebanon transcends political interactions, being deeply embedded in the cultural, historical, and emotional ties shared by the two nations.

During the credentials ceremony for Lebanon’s newly-appointed ambassador Ahmad Sweidan in Tehran on Tuesday, remarks were made emphasizing the steadfast alliance between the two nations, underscoring their unwavering support for each other through challenges and successes alike.
The Iranian leader stated that Tehran is attentively monitoring events in Lebanon and genuinely hopes for peace and stability for the Lebanese population.
Pezeshkian identified the Israeli regime as a central cause of instability in Lebanon and the broader region, pointing to ongoing attacks and expansionist strategies as significant threats to regional security.
He emphasized that Iran’s stance on these actions is unequivocal and firmly rooted in the defense of the rights of regional nations.
Tehran has reiterated its commitment to enhancing cooperation with Arab and Islamic nations, with a particular focus on Lebanon, and emphasized the ambassador’s pivotal role in bolstering bilateral relations.
Lebanon’s Ambassador Sweidan conveyed greetings on behalf of Lebanese leaders, characterizing the relationship between Iran and Lebanon as robust, resilient, and continuously growing despite external pressures.
