Iranian Authorities Pursue Mossad Operatives Amid Rising Policemen Fatalities in Terror Strikes

Iranian security and judicial officials have reported the successful disbanding of multiple armed terrorist groups and the apprehension of operatives with foreign connections, coinciding with a surge of riots believed to be supported by external forces, which have resulted in the deaths of several law enforcement personnel.

The unrest has persisted for multiple days, as agitators capitalize on public concerns regarding escalating living expenses and the depreciation of currency to provoke violence.

In the western city of Borujerd, several individuals believed to be leading figures in orchestrating riots and targeting religious sites and public property have been arrested, according to confirmation from Public Prosecutor Goodarz Amraei.

Judicial reports indicate that the suspects, characterized as individuals from outside the local area with substantial criminal histories, had deliberately come to the city with the intention of inciting violence.

The Lorestan Police Information Center reported that security forces successfully neutralized a four-member armed group in Borujerd.

Reports indicate that the cell was allegedly planning a false-flag operation designed to hold the state responsible for civilian casualties, with the intent of further destabilizing the region. Authorities recovered firearms, ammunition, and specialized equipment for the production of improvised explosive devices (IEDs) from the group’s hideout.

In another development, authorities in Qazvin detained four individuals accused of orchestrating advanced assaults on military and government facilities.

On Monday, security authorities in Tehran reported the detention of an operative linked to Mossad who had been operating secretly within groups of demonstrators.

Officials have reported that the suspect admitted to functioning as a high-level intermediary, receiving tactical directives through social media platforms, including Instagram and Telegram, from handlers located in Germany.

The operation aimed at enlisting young individuals for street violence and capturing footage of the unrest to be utilized by international propaganda channels.

Iranian authorities have taken steps to combat a coordinated digital warfare initiative driven by disinformation.

In Tehran, authorities have detained 40 individuals accused of employing artificial intelligence tools to produce and disseminate fabricated images and videos depicting unrest.

Recent incidents involved the use of deepfakes and previously recorded footage to fabricate a perception of pervasive disorder.

Authorities have confirmed that the suspects were tracked down utilizing technical and intelligence operations. The deceptive material was subsequently taken down in collaboration with judicial authorities.

Four police officers have been killed.

Four police officers were killed in separate incidents nationwide over the course of Wednesday and Thursday.

In Malard, located to the west of Tehran, Officer Shahin Dehghan tragically lost his life after being fatally stabbed while trying to quell unrest during a disturbance.

In the southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan, Mahmoud Haghighat was killed when gunmen, identified as affiliates of the Jaish al-Adl terrorist organization, launched an attack on his vehicle.

In the southwestern city of Lordegan, violence intensified as armed rioters, some wielding military-grade hunting rifles, engaged in gunfire with police forces. This confrontation resulted in the deaths of two officers and left 30 others injured.

The remains of the two officers, identified as Staff Sergeant Hadi Azaraz and Staff Sergeant Moslem Mahdavi-Nasab, were solemnly transported in a funeral procession on Thursday at the martyrs’ cemetery in Shahr-e Kord before being returned to their respective hometowns for final rites.

Officials are reporting that the fatalities signify a significant surge in violence that surpasses economic protests. They characterize these incidents as a deliberate attempt to destabilize the nation through armed rebellion.

According to a report from Tasnim News Agency on Thursday, Kurdish separatist factions located in northern Iraq have escalated their involvement from providing logistical support to engaging in direct field operations within Iranian borders.

Intelligence sources have reportedly documented the direct involvement of these groups in the western Iranian provinces of Ilam and Kermanshah.

In the northeastern province of Khorasan Razavi, Iran, a violent incident led to the deaths of five individuals following an assault on a police station in the city of Chenaran, as reported by a provincial security official on Thursday.

Amirollah Shamaghdari, acting in his capacity as deputy governor responsible for security and law enforcement, reported that the assailants scaled the station walls amid the incident. He further noted that, as reported by the official IRNA news agency, 23 police officers and a protester had sustained injuries in recent days amidst the ongoing unrest throughout the province.

He emphasized the importance of securing sensitive and military sites as protected facilities, urging citizens to differentiate between peaceful protests and acts of violence or damage to public property.

According to Shamaghdari, Mashhad emerged as the most volatile city in the province on Wednesday, with Chenaran and Neyshabur also experiencing unrest. He reported that authorities had arrested several individuals in Mashhad, Neshabur, and Sabzevar.

In the city of Mashhad, Shamaghdari reported that a city bus was set ablaze after its driver was forcibly removed. Additionally, traffic signs were dismantled and utilized to obstruct roadways.

He highlighted an event where Iran’s flag had been removed from a public square, noting that it was subsequently re-hoisted on Thursday with the involvement of local residents.

American and Israeli figures have been implicated in openly encouraging acts of riots and armed attacks.

Trump has consistently expressed backing for the demonstrators, cautioning that Washington might launch an offensive against Iran should the “peaceful protesters,” as described by him, face harm.

Mike Pompeo, the former US Secretary of State, has made statements suggesting involvement of Mossad in the riots and hinting at separatist schemes aimed at Iran’s Sistan and Baluchestan province.

Recent developments emerge merely days following Trump’s apparent endorsement of potential Israeli strikes targeting Iran’s nuclear and missile initiatives.

The recent actions follow a prior US-Israeli offensive earlier in the year, which Iranian authorities characterized as a 12-day campaign of state terrorism. This assault reportedly led to the deaths of over a thousand civilians and targeted Iran’s civilian, military, and nuclear facilities.

Iranian authorities have accused Western nations of double standards, highlighting that the economic difficulties referenced by demonstrators are a direct consequence of unilateral sanctions imposed by the United States.

Economic indicators reveal that the significant devaluation of the Iranian rial and the escalating cost of living can be directly linked to the 2011–2012 sanctions imposed on Iran, specifically targeting the nation’s central bank and oil exports.

Iranian authorities have recognized the validity of economic concerns expressed by peaceful demonstrators and have pledged to address these issues. They have also stressed a definitive separation between lawful protests and violence incited by foreign actors.

On Thursday, the prosecutor in Tehran issued a stern warning to individuals and businesses against endorsing calls for unrest. Legal proceedings have been initiated against several brands, shops, and a select group of social media influencers.

The Tehran prosecutor has instructed judicial officials to keep a watchful eye on social media activities and identify individuals who may be violating the law, with the goal of initiating prosecutions, according to the report.

IRNA reported that several legal proceedings have been initiated in the past day targeting certain brands and shops. In addition, legal actions have been taken against several prominent online personalities accused of indirectly supporting the riots.
