Nationwide Protests in Iran Denounce Mossad Linked Terror; Police Report Killing of Armed Terrorists
Tens of thousands of Iranians gathered across the nation following Friday prayers to condemn the recent foreign-influenced unrest. Authorities reported that multiple armed terrorists were neutralized and several others apprehended during overnight security operations.

Protests erupted in multiple cities across Iran, spanning provinces such as Lorestan, Zanjan, Khuzestan, Qom, and Yazd. Demonstrators rallied while waving Iranian flags and displaying placards in support of national security and the Islamic regime.
Participants emphasized a marked differentiation between legitimate, peaceful demands and orchestrated unrest and insecurity, while chanting slogans such as “Death to America” and “Death to Israel.”
Last week, a number of shopkeepers participated in street protests across various Iranian cities, expressing dissatisfaction with the prevailing economic instability. The situation escalated towards violence after public comments from US and Israeli officials, and these tensions were further fueled by Israeli-associated Persian-language media, which reportedly incited acts of vandalism and disorder.
Authorities have recognized the legitimacy of peaceful economic grievances and committed to addressing these concerns. They have also accused foreign-backed elements of exploiting rising living costs and the depreciation of the national currency, issues directly linked to unilateral US sanctions aimed at Iran’s central bank and oil exports.
On Friday, Brigadier General Saeed Montazer al-Mahdi, the police spokesman, stated that law enforcement authorities have endeavored to handle protests with “the highest level of tolerance and forbearance.” He underscored the distinction between protesters and rioters, highlighting the focus on careful management of demonstrations.
“From the very beginning, it was emphasized that a clear distinction exists between protesters and agitators, and the demonstration environment was managed with this understanding,” he stated.
According to statements, individuals masquerading as citizens incited youths and teenagers, while “foreign-based, anti-Iranian media” played a role in stoking unrest on Thursday night.
In the last 24 hours, organized groups have breached critical boundaries by setting fire to both public and private properties. Among the targets were ambulances, rescue and fire vehicles, buses, civilians’ cars, shops, and businesses. Additionally, banks, hospitals, and religious sites suffered damage, actions that have caused significant distress to the collective psyche and disrupted public peace.
Montazer al-Mahdi reported that several security personnel and numerous innocent civilians lost their lives amid the turmoil.
He reported that during the disturbances, “a number of armed terrorists and operational field agents from enemy services were killed,” with others detained.
Zero Tolerance for Rioters
Judiciary Chief Gholamhossein Mohseni-Eje’i issued a warning on Friday, emphasizing a commitment to rapid and unwavering measures.
He warned that the rioters and agitators who have disrupted peace and security, leaving several families in mourning in recent days, will soon face the repercussions of their actions.
He stated that in response to foreign adversaries “baring their teeth” toward Iran, the punishment would be “decisive, maximum, and administered with no legal leniency.”
Authorities have confirmed that security and judicial agencies have successfully dismantled multiple armed terror cells and apprehended operatives with foreign ties in the midst of ongoing violence.
Tehran Mayor Alireza Zakani reported on Friday that demonstrators have targeted crucial economic and public infrastructure. The targets included 26 banks, two hospitals, 25 mosques, police facilities, and 48 fire trucks.
Iranian authorities have highlighted what they describe as explicit support for unrest from American and Israeli figures. Trump has consistently expressed backing for demonstrators and cautioned that Washington might launch an attack on Iran should what he terms “peaceful protesters” face harm. Meanwhile, former U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has released statements hinting at Mossad’s involvement and separatist schemes.
In a statement on Friday, the Islamic Revolution Leader emphasized that the state “will not back down against vandals,” calling for unity and asserting that a united nation can triumph over any adversary. This message comes amidst a series of rallies.
Iran’s Supreme National Security Council released a statement on Friday, asserting that the recent unrest was “orchestrated and guided by Israel and the United States.” The council described these actions as components of a continuous “hybrid warfare” effort.
The statement highlighted that national unity will compel the adversary into a strategic setback, rendering their disruptive strategies futile.
