Iran’s Chief Security Officer Vows Decisive Action Against Mossad CIA-Linked Militant Rioters

Ali Larijani, the Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, asserted that both security forces and the judiciary are ready to take robust actions against foreign-linked individuals engaged in armed violence and orchestrated assaults against the Iranian people.

In a televised interview on Friday, Larijani announced that security forces have been directed to ensure maximum caution to prevent harm to the public. However, he emphasized that any groups arriving at the scene armed or with intentions to meddle in Iran’s internal affairs would encounter decisive action.

An official called on citizens to sustain the vigilance demonstrated during the 12-day conflict attributed to the Israeli regime and the United States in June. The official emphasized that Iran’s adversaries were now attempting to undermine the factors that had previously bolstered national resilience.

He emphasized the need for public awareness and unity, stating that adversaries have set their sights on undermining the elements that were crucial to the nation’s strength and success during the conflict.

Assaults on National and Religious Identity Landmarks

Larijani highlighted that disruptive groups have targeted symbols representative of Iran’s national and religious heritage. These acts include the burning of the Islamic Republic’s flag and efforts to damage statues of national figures, notably General Qassem Soleimani, the leading anti-terror commander who was assassinated by the US in 2020.

“They aim to undermine national pride,” he stated, also referring to incidents where certain groups have resorted to burning the Holy Qur’an and attacking mosques, among other actions.

He characterized the extraordinary actions as an attempt to weaken the fundamental pillars of the nation’s strength.

An official dismissed suggestions that economic issues were behind the violence, pointing out that incidents involving looting and the burning of shops indicated a different underlying motive.

“Individuals facing economic challenges do not resort to looting a store,” he stated, emphasizing that such acts interfere with public services and suggest motives that are not connected to economic reform.

**Impact of Israeli Presence**

Larijani drew connections between the acts of sabotage carried out by the rioters and prior remarks from Israeli officials. These statements had proposed a tactic of leveraging internal elements within Iran to challenge the Islamic Republic, as opposed to opting for direct military confrontation.

He stated that the targets selected by armed groups with foreign ties indicate objectives that extend beyond mere economic protest.

Security forces have successfully identified the ringleaders behind the recent unrest, according to Larijani. While some individuals have already been apprehended, authorities are poised to detain others shortly.

Authorities have reportedly discovered cases involving Gewehr 3 (G3) assault rifles, handguns, and various other weapons, pointing to prior organization and planning. The findings include details on methods of transporting and distributing the arms.

Larijani stated that efforts to capture military and law enforcement centers reflected a bid to ignite internal strife and lay the groundwork for foreign intervention. However, he noted that these attempts have been thwarted, owing to the readiness of security forces.

The comments were made as Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, reaffirmed that the Islamic Republic would not stand for acts of vandalism or unrest instigated by foreign entities.

Iran’s leadership has taken a resolute stance, declaring that the nation will not relent in the face of those described as vandals who aim to gain favor with Washington.

In an address earlier today, Ayatollah Khamenei asserted that the nation would “not back down against vandals,” condemning acts of destruction aimed at appeasing foreign powers. He also reinforced the legitimacy of peaceful protests concerning economic grievances.
