Iran Vows to Strengthen Nuclear Program Beyond Previous Capabilities

President Pezeshkian asserted that the demolition of nuclear sites would not deter their efforts, emphasizing a commitment to reconstruction with renewed strength and resolve. His remarks came as he toured an exhibition showcasing the advancements made by Iran's nuclear scientists.

Masoud Pezeshkian paid a visit to the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) to explore an exhibition highlighting the most recent accomplishments of Iranian nuclear scientists in areas such as healthcare, medical technology, and radiopharmaceutical production. Following the exhibition, he engaged in a constructive meeting with the organization’s senior officials.

In a tribute to the martyrs of the 12-day imposed war and Iran’s nuclear scientists, President Pezeshkian characterized the contributions of the nation’s nuclear experts as a form of scientific jihad and a devoted service to the country. He emphasized the critical importance of producing radiopharmaceuticals and advancing modern medical technologies, urging that these essential national priorities be pursued with increased urgency and commitment.

Emphasizing Iran’s significant role in the production of radiopharmaceuticals and its potential impact on the international medical market, Pezeshkian stated that adopting advanced technologies and competing globally is crucial for the country. He asserted that dominant powers aim to prevent independent nations like Iran from accessing cutting-edge technologies, thereby ensuring these countries remain reliant on assembly industries while charging excessively high prices for medicines.

He advocated for the formulation of a strategic plan aimed at enhancing Iran’s presence in the global radiopharmaceutical market. He underscored the importance of fulfilling domestic requirements as a priority, while also highlighting the need for export expansion and effective professional marketing strategies.

The President emphasized that the quality, effectiveness, and affordability of their products are set to position Iran as a leader in this sector.

Pezeshkian asserted that the animosity and targeted killings of Iranian scientists are driven by major powers’ apprehension regarding Iran’s quest for scientific and technological self-reliance.

He highlighted that Iran has consistently asserted that the development of nuclear weapons is not on its agenda, a fact well known to global powers.

Despite their assertions, Trump stated, they utilize these unfounded allegations as an excuse to obstruct Iran’s advancements.
