Iran Demonstrates Readiness for Potential Conflicts, Asserts Top Military General

General Abdolrahim Mousavi emphasized the complete preparedness of Iran's Armed Forces for any potential future conflicts. This statement came during his visit to evaluate the combat readiness of naval forces in the southern region of Iran.

During a visit to Bandar Abbas on Tuesday, General Mousavi conducted a comprehensive tour of various units within the Army’s naval forces, including surface, subsurface, commando, and aviation divisions. He also engaged with combat and operational sections of the IRGC Navy, holding discussions with commanders and personnel.

Addressing the Army’s naval forces, he emphasized their extensive readiness, stating, “This strategic unit maintains full combat preparedness across maritime, terrestrial, and aerial domains.”

The military’s courageous naval forces stationed in the southern region are thoroughly prepared to execute designated missions. All defensive and offensive strategies to counter adversaries are continuously practiced and refined.

During a tour of the IRGC Navy’s units, General Mousavi emphasized the fusion of “faith, motivation, knowledge, experience, and a Jihadi and revolutionary spirit” present among its personnel.

He emphasized that this attitude demonstrates “the complete readiness of the IRGC Navy across both defensive and offensive sectors,” further noting that the force “stands prepared for any form of defense or offensive action against adversaries.”

In light of recent developments, General Mousavi highlighted the progress made in the brief period following the 12-day conflict initiated by the Israeli regime and the United States against the nation in June.

In a brief time frame, significant advancements have been made within the IRGC Navy. The observed state of readiness for a potential confrontation was described as exceptional, he stated.

Israel initiated an unprovoked offensive against Iran on June 13, sparking a 12-day conflict that resulted in the deaths of at least 1,064 individuals in Iran, comprising military leaders, nuclear scientists, and civilians. The United States provided assistance to Israel and participated in the operation by targeting Iran’s nuclear facilities with airstrikes.

In retaliation, the Iranian Armed Forces launched attacks on strategically significant locations across the occupied territories, including the Al-Udeid air base in Qatar, known as the largest U.S. military base in West Asia.

On June 24, Iran executed successful counter-operations that effectively thwarted terrorist actions linked to both Israel and the United States.
