Terrorist ‘israel’ Issues Threats to Global Sumud Flotilla After Refusal to ‘Dock and Unload’ Cargo

Zionist regime has issued a warning to obstruct the Global Sumud Flotilla, a significant civilian initiative aiming to challenge Tel Aviv's naval blockade of Gaza. The authorities have taken this stance after the flotilla declined to "dock and unload" the humanitarian aid intended for the war-affected and impoverished residents of the coastal enclave.

On Tuesday, the Israeli Foreign Ministry announced plans to block the fleet from accessing Palestinian territory. This decision follows the fleet’s refusal to comply with Israel’s request to dock at the port of Ashkelon for cargo unloading.

Tel Aviv asserts that it is necessary to inspect the cargo prior to facilitating its transfer to Gaza.

According to the flotilla’s organizers, the regime’s demand is viewed as a component of its continued near-complete blockade of the region.

Their track record of intercepting ships, blocking convoys, and restricting routes indicates a strategy aimed not at facilitating aid but at controlling, delaying, and denying it, they stated.

‘Situation Escalates Amid Targeting of Flotilla’

Meanwhile, the organizers reported that the regime had intensified its “dangerous” assaults on the fleet’s vessels as they attempted to reach Gaza.

Citing “explosions, significant drone activity, and communication jamming,” officials warned that the intensification signals an impending surge in aggression targeting the fleet’s more than 500 civilian volunteers.

The GSF, consisting of over 50 vessels, set sail from Barcelona in late September with the objective of challenging what human rights organizations have condemned as among the most severe and inhumane blockades globally.

A massive fleet has embarked on what officials are calling the most extensive maritime mission in several decades, featuring delegations from no fewer than 44 nations.

The potential success of this endeavor would signify the first instance in almost 15 years where a flotilla has made it to the shores of Gaza.

Israeli authorities have expressed strong opposition to the mission, with far-right minister Itamar Ben-Gvir warning that the activists could be labeled as “terrorists” and face the seizure of their vessels.
