Iranian President Condemns ‘israel’s’ Terrorist Attack on Yemen

Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian and Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf have issued strong condemnations of the recent Israeli actions in Yemen. The aggression resulted in the death of Yemen’s prime minister and several top officials, labeled as martyrs by the Iranian leaders.

In a statement, President Pezeshkian extended his condolences following the death of Yemeni Prime Minister Ahmad Ghaleb Al-Rahawi and several other ministers.

He stated that the recent terrorist attack by the Zionist regime targeting Yemen, leading to the deaths of the prime minister and several senior officials, has once more highlighted the brutal and criminal nature of the group governing the occupied Palestinian territories.

In a statement of condolence, Qalibaf addressed the tragic incident, lamenting, “The martyrdom of Yemen’s prime minister, Ahmad Ghaleb Nasr Al-Rahawi, alongside several ministers from the nation’s revolutionary government, in a terrorist and aggressive attack by the Zionist regime, has once again revealed the nefarious and criminal nature of this regime in perpetuating such atrocities.”

He described the act as a cowardly and blatant crime against humanity, perpetrated at the height of Yemen’s full-scale resistance against the Israeli regime.

The Parliament speaker stated that the initiative aimed at undermining the legitimate political leadership of a nation, all under the guise of championing the cause of the oppressed people of Palestine and their quest for freedom. The speaker further emphasized that this constitutes yet another recorded instance of the inhumane actions and global threats posed by this regime.

An Israeli airstrike on Thursday resulted in injuries to several senior ministers, marking a significant escalation in Israel’s continuing military operations against Yemen.

The Ansarullah government was conducting a routine workshop to evaluate its activities from the past year when it came under attack by Israeli jets.
