120 Nations Condemn Israeli Actions, Voice Support for Iran
The Iranian Foreign Minister has announced that approximately 120 nations have denounced recent Israeli military actions, expressing solidarity with Iran. This international backing, according to the minister, underscores the logic behind Iran's position in its discussions with the United States.

In a comprehensive interview with local Iranian media on Sunday, senior diplomat Abbas Araghchi highlighted the recent aggression by the Israeli regime against Iran. He emphasized that it was the decision of the Islamic Establishment to engage in negotiations, a responsibility that was entrusted to the foreign ministry.
He defended his and his team’s performance during the five rounds of indirect negotiations with the U.S. envoy, Steve Witkoff, emphasizing that the country faced the threat of attack from the Zionist regime, supported by the United States, regardless of their decision to engage in talks.
In a recent statement, Araghchi expressed the view that the negotiations not only preserved their current standing but also provided significant gains. He emphasized that the discussions reinforced their legitimacy both domestically and internationally. Addressing speculation, Araghchi asserted that without the negotiations, a conflict was unavoidable and might have occurred even sooner.
The minister posed a rhetorical question about why the population maintained such unity during the conflict. He answered himself, noting that the citizens recognized their Islamic Establishment had made every effort to avert the war and engaged in negotiations, in contrast to the opposing side, which favored conflict. He asserted, “Our reasoning was robust,” highlighting the support of over 120 countries that backed their stance and condemned the attack.
In a series of escalating tensions in the Middle East, the Zionist regime initiated aggressive military actions against Iran, targeting military, nuclear, and residential areas for a period of 12 days starting on June 13. Following these events, the United States intervened on June 22, executing military strikes on three key nuclear facilities in Iran located in Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan.
Iranian military forces launched a series of robust counterattacks following an act of aggression. The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Aerospace Force executed 22 waves of retaliatory missile strikes targeting the Zionist regime, as part of Operation True Promise III. These strikes resulted in significant damage to cities within the occupied territories.
In retaliation to recent US actions, Iranian military forces have initiated a barrage of missile strikes targeting the al-Udeid air base in Qatar, recognized as the largest American military installation in the West Asian region.
A ceasefire that took effect on June 24 has successfully paused hostilities.
