Bomb blast kills 27, injures 40 in Afghan capital


A bomb attack has targeted vehicles carrying police cadets on the western outskirts of the Afghan capital, Kabul, killing at least 27 people and injuring 40 others.

An Interior Ministry official, who declined to be named, said details are still being verified.
Initial reports said two bombs had targeted the vehicles.
