Terrorists suffer heavy losses in failed attack on Syrian Army positions
Terrorists from the Turkestan Islamic Party (TIP) launched a new attack last night on the Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) defenses inside the Al-Ghaab Plain region of the Hama Governorate.
According to a military communique from northern Hama, the TIP attempted to storm the Syrian Arab Army’s defenses near the key town of Al-Sirmaniyeh.
However, the Syrian Arab Army was able to spot the terrorists before they could reach their intended target south of Al-Sirmaniyeh.
A fierce battle would ensue between the two parties in the Al-Ghaab Plain, resulting in heavy losses for the terrorists .
The TIP would ultimately retreat before dawn this morning in order to evade capture by the Syrian Arab Army.
