Zionist forces detained eight Palestinians in the village of Ad-Deqaiqa in the Masafer Yatta area south of Hebron following an attack by Israeli settlers, WAFA reported.

Anti-colonization activist Osama Makhamreh identified the abductees as Nasser Ahmad Nasser al-Najadeh, Abdul Rahman Mohammad al-Najadeh, Suleiman Mahmoud Kaabneh, Mohammad Suleiman al-Najadeh, Yousef Ahmad Mohammad Kaabneh, Mohammad Raad Amer, Odeh Salem al-Najadeh and his son, Salem.
Makhamreh said the abductions occurred after Israeli settlers attacked Palestinians and attempted to steal livestock.
Earlier, settlers cut the village’s main water line, leaving about 700 residents without water.
They also separately targeted the home of Khairy Abu Tuffah in Khallet al-Hummus, south of Yatta, assaulting his family and foreign solidarity activists.
Several Palestinians suffered suffocation Saturday evening after Israeli settlers sprayed them with pepper spray near the entrance to al-Mughayyir village, northeast of Ramallah, according to village council head Amin Abu Alia.
The settlers also attacked and damaged an ambulance operated by the al-Mughayyir village council as it traveled to treat wounded Palestinians.
Approximately 750,000 settlers live in 141 unauthorized settlements and 224 outposts across the occupied West Bank, including about 250,000 in occupied East al-Quds.
Since October 2023, the occupied West Bank has seen a surge in attacks by Israeli forces and settlers, resulting in the deaths and arrests of thousands of Palestinians.
