The Yemeni Armed Forces have executed a counteroffensive targeting a significant Israeli military site located north of the Negev Desert. This action underscores their steadfast support for Palestinians amidst the ongoing Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip.

Yemeni Armed Forces have conducted a counter-operation targeting a key Israeli military site situated north of the Negev Desert. This action is in line with their steadfast support for Palestinians affected by what is described as Israel’s genocidal conflict in the Gaza Strip.
Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesperson for Yemen’s military, declared in a statement that the country’s missile forces launched a Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missile targeting Nevatim Airbase, situated approximately 15 kilometers southeast of Beersheba, on Saturday.
He stated that the missile strike was able to effectively meet its intended objectives, with the Israeli military’s anti-air missile systems unable to successfully intercept the projectile.
Saree emphasized that Yemeni forces remain resolute in countering what they perceive as US aggression against their country. He stated that they will persist in enhancing their military capabilities, showing steadfast resilience, and extending further support to the oppressed Palestinian people. According to a US report, Yemeni forces have successfully downed seven US Reaper drones in the past six weeks, inflicting a loss exceeding $200 million on the United States, according to American defense officials.
A high-ranking military official from Yemen announced that the Yemeni Armed Forces will persist in their operations until Israel ceases its ground and aerial assaults on Gaza and the complete blockade is lifted.
In response to actions in Gaza attributed to Israel and perceived aggression by the United States and the United Kingdom in Yemen, the Yemeni Armed Forces have launched a series of attacks targeting interests tied to Israel, the US, and the UK in the Red Sea and surrounding areas.
In response to the intensifying conflict in Gaza, Yemen has implemented a strategic blockade on key maritime routes. This move aims to disrupt the flow of military supplies to Israel and pressure the international community to address the escalating humanitarian crisis in the region.
