US HUMILIATED: Iran Destroys Multiple US Aircrafts in Failed Rescue Attempt in Isfahan

Iranian military forces have reportedly succeeded in destroying two US C-130 transport planes and two Black Hawk helicopters involved in a mission aimed at rescuing the pilot of a downed American fighter jet, according to a spokesman for the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters.

In a statement from the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, it was announced that Iranian forces succeeded in destroying two US C-130 transport aircraft along with two Black Hawk helicopters. These American aircraft were reportedly on a mission to rescue the pilot of a downed US fighter jet.

Iran’s Lieutenant-Colonel Ebrahim Zolfaqari announced on Sunday that a US Army operation, ostensibly aimed at rescuing the pilot of a downed aircraft at an abandoned airport in southern Isfahan, was thwarted by the timely intervention of Iranian armed forces. The mission, described as a deceptive and rapid escape endeavor, was ultimately unsuccessful.

He stated that Iranian forces destroyed two C-130 military transport aircraft and two Black Hawk helicopters during the operation.

He stated that it was demonstrated to all that the US military, described as despicable and bankrupt, does not hold dominant power compared to the resolve of Iran’s armed forces in this ongoing conflict.

Following the operation deemed proud and triumphant, Trump appears to be hastily attempting to deflect a failure by employing deceit and psychological tactics. As in previous instances, he persists in propagating false claims and engaging in a blame game, whereas the ground realities suggest Iran holds an advantageous position.

Following recent developments, Trump stated via social media that the U.S. military successfully apprehended the pilot during a mission, shortly after conducting a separate operation to rescue another pilot.

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has dismissed claims made by Trump.

According to a statement released by the Public Relations Department of the IRGC, US efforts to rescue the pilot of a downed fighter jet were met with challenges as flying objects entered central parts of the country. The IRGC reported that these objects were ultimately destroyed, resulting in what they described as a humiliating defeat for the US. This development occurred during a joint operation involving Aerospace, Ground forces, as well as public, Basij, and police units. The statement highlighted a decisive victory by Iranian forces in southern Isfahan, characterizing it as a testament to their courageous actions, as reported by Press TV on April 5, 2026.

The report highlighted that the event mirrors the April 25, 1980 incident, when US forces deployed in Tabas, Iran, to rescue American hostages, only to be thwarted by a significant sandstorm.

On Sunday, Iran’s air defense systems successfully neutralized two unauthorized drones, specifically an MQ-9 and a Hermers-900, in the airspace over Isfahan Province. This action was executed as part of Iran’s integrated air defense network operations.

The military action involving the United States and Israel against Iran commenced on February 28, marked by airstrikes that targeted and resulted in the deaths of high-ranking Iranian officials and commanders.

Iran’s armed forces have initiated near-daily missile and drone strikes aimed at sites within the Israeli-occupied territories, as well as targeting US military bases and assets throughout the region.

Iran has demonstrated its preparedness to safeguard its airspace by downing multiple hostile fighter jets, missiles, and drones.
