According to the Palestinian WAFA news agency, settlers protected by Israeli regime forces attacked Palestinian homes in Al-Mughayyir village, northeast of Ramallah, on Saturday.
WAFA reported that settlers also attacked olive harvesters in Beita, south of Nablus.
In Beita, settlers attacked Palestinians harvesting olives in the Jabal al-Arma area and fired live ammunition, according to local sources cited by WAFA.
At least one Palestinian olive farmer was wounded after Israeli forces opened fire on harvesters.
Settlers also attacked Palestinian homes south of Al-Mughayyir village and seized a vehicle there, while Israeli occupation forces raided the village’s outskirts.
WAFA separately reported that three Palestinians were injured Friday in settler attacks targeting olive harvesters across the Nablus governorate.
The attacks occurred as Palestinians began their annual olive harvest, while Israeli forces also used stun grenades and tear gas against Palestinian farmers and foreign solidarity activists near Nablus.
Olive farming is among the oldest agricultural practices of Palestinians and has been cultivated across the region for thousands of years.
The Israeli authorities are seeking to pressure Palestinian residents and farmers to leave their land, paving the way for the expansion of Israeli settlements.
The United Nations considers Israeli settlements built on occupied Palestinian territory a violation of international law and the Geneva Conventions.
The UN Security Council has adopted several resolutions prohibiting Israel from expanding settlements in the occupied West Bank.
The International Court of Justice has deemed Israel’s decades-long occupation of Palestinian territories unlawful and called for the removal of all Israeli settlements in the West Bank, East al-Quds and other occupied areas.
