The Syrian Army’s aircraft hit concentration centers of the al-Qaeda-affiliated al-Nusra Fronts in Qarnateh, al-Qajar, Keishin, Borj Qai, Deir Foul and Ezzeddin in the Northern part of Homs province, which ended in the killing or wounding of tens of the terrorists.
In the meantime, the Syrian army engaged in heavy clashes with the ISIL terrorists near the oilfield of al-Sha’er in the Eastern part of Homs province, which claimed the lives of several militants.
Reports said on Saturday that the Syrian government forces stormed the ISIL positions in the Eastern part of Homs province and forced the ISIL to withdraw from a key Tank Base the terrorists captured three days ago.
“The Muhajarah Tank Base is now under the full control of the 18th tank division of the Syrian Army,” the sources underlined, adding, “The ISIL could not resists against the heavy attacks of the Syrian army troops and the National Defense Forces and pulled back the remaining pockets of its members from the strategic base.”
“The ISIL suffered a heavy death toll in the attacks,” the sources said.
“With the Syrian government forces’ control over the Muhajarah Tank Base and the nearby Tiyas airbase (T4), the Syrian Armed Forces can focus on cleansing of more territories from the ISIL in the Eastern part of Homs province.
