Syrian Army Escalates Hits in Adra of Rural Damascus


Syrian Army continued on Saturday the successful military operations against the terrorist organizations in several areas across the country, inflicting heavy losses among them, state-run SANA news agency reported.

In Damascus countryside, units of the armed forces also launched a wide scale military operation towards Adraa al-Balad and cordons off the town, eliminating large numbers of terrorists and destroying their criminal equipment.

Army units also targeted gatherings of terrorists in the areas of al-Rawda Street in Khan al-Sheeh farms and al-Hindi farm at Nestle street in the countryside, leaving many terrorists dead and others wounded.

Meanwhile in Homs countryside, a military source told SANA that the Army foiled two infiltration attempts by gunmen into al-Wae’r orchards and Um Sharshouh town, killing a number of terrorists and destroying a vehicle.

In Idlib countryside, the army also killed a number of armed terrorists and their leaders, destroying their vehicles and a factory for hand-made rockets in Ma’arat al-Numan.

Another military source told SANA that the army targeted a gatherings for terrorists near the town of Binnish, killing several terrorists, among them Ahmad Suleiman Maznouk.

In the southern province of Daraa, army units killed and injured many terrorists and destroyed their vehicles.

SANA reporter learned from a military source that army units targeted gatherings of terrorists in the surrounding of Mansharet al-Hajar in Ataman town and in the surrounding of Khirbat Ghazala in the countryside, leaving a number of them dead and injured.

The source added that a unit of the armed forces killed many terrorists and destroyed a car equipped with a heavy machinegun they were using in the town of Deir al-Adas in the rural area.

Three cars were also destroyed to the south of Busr al-Harir in the eastern countryside, and all terrorists onboard were killed.
