Sirens Blare in Israeli-Occupied Regions Amid New Missile Offensive from Yemen
Air raid sirens were activated in the Israeli-occupied regions as the Yemeni Armed Forces launched a ballistic missile. This action comes as a retaliation against the ongoing conflict, described by some as genocidal, initiated by the occupying regime against Palestinians in the blockaded Gaza Strip.

Israeli media outlets have reported that a recent missile strike originating from Yemen set off warning sirens in the central region of the contested territories and occupied al-Quds early Tuesday.
The missile strike triggered widespread panic among unauthorized settlers, prompting hundreds of thousands to seek refuge in bomb shelters.
Israel’s Magen David Adom (MDA) emergency response service has confirmed that there were no direct injuries or damage caused by debris as a result of the attack.
The armed forces subsequently reported that their anti-aircraft missile systems had successfully “intercepted” the projectile.
The recent development follows two days after the Yemeni military announced it was behind a sequence of airstrikes targeting Israeli sites, utilizing three drones.
In a statement broadcasted by al-Masirah television on Sunday evening, Yemeni military spokesperson, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, announced that two drones had targeted military sites in Tel Aviv and Ashkelon, with a third drone striking the port city of Eilat.
Saree announced that the assaults were carried out in solidarity with the Palestinian population in Gaza. He further stated that the Yemeni military will persist with its offensives “until the aggression on Gaza ceases and the blockade is lifted.”
In response to the intensifying conflict in Gaza that commenced in October 2023, Yemeni forces have initiated a tactical maritime blockade. This action seeks to hinder the flow of military resources to Israel and calls on the global community to take urgent action regarding the severe humanitarian situation in Gaza.
Simultaneous missile and drone strikes were launched against key targets in the Israeli-occupied territories, demonstrating solidarity with Palestinians who have faced an ongoing 20-month conflict.
The Yemeni Armed Forces have announced their operations will continue unabated until Israel ends its ground and air attacks in Gaza.
The ongoing conflict in Israel has led to the tragic loss of nearly 61,000 Palestinian lives, with women and children making up the majority of the casualties.
