President Maduro Confirms ‘Cordial’ Phone Exchange with Trump
Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro has disclosed details of a phone conversation with Trump that took place 10 days ago, describing the exchange as "respectful" and "cordial."

Nicolas Maduro highlighted the importance of discretion and subtle diplomacy, stating, “Significant matters should be kept confidential until their fruition.”
Maduro characterized the United States as being “weary of endless conflicts” and presented Venezuela as an ally for peace, as reported by Sputnik.
On November 29, Trump urged airlines to regard the airspace over and around Venezuela as off-limits. In response, Venezuelan officials staunchly dismissed this appeal, insisting that the United States honor the sovereignty of Venezuela’s airspace. They further reached out to the United Nations and the International Civil Aviation Organization to denounce the remarks from Washington, which Caracas contends represent a threat of force.
