President al-Sharaa meets Syrian community in the UK, pledges ongoing dialogue

During his official visit to the United Kingdom, President Ahmad al-Sharaa held discussions with members of the Syrian community in London.

President al-Sharaa underlined the important role of Syrians abroad in promoting an accurate understanding of their country and supporting its causes in their host communities. Al-Sharaa hailed the community’s dedication and pride in Syria.

The president also heard attendees’ suggestions, affirming his intention to maintain ongoing dialogue and communication with Syrians living overseas.

Earlier today, as part of his visit to the United Kingdom, President Ahmad al-Sharaa held talks with senior officials, representatives of leading British companies, and Syrian and British business leaders.

Discussions concentrated on ways to enhance expand bilateral relations in a manner that serves the mutual interests of the two countries, as well as to expand cooperation in the fields of development and investment.
